Security Engineer · Systems Architect · Builder
I believe the best way to predict the future is to create it.
I've been building things since I got my hands on a Commodore 64 at seven years old. By high school, I'd constructed a touch-screen infotainment system for my car — carrying 100GB of music years before the iPod existed.
That drive has taken me from DARPA research labs to enterprise penetration testing to riding a motorcycle through Patagonia to the end of the world. I work at the intersection of security, systems engineering, and whatever problem is most interesting.
“Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose.”
